Three steps to a fair answer
SpinWheel is a free random picker for the everyday choices that are easier to make together. Works on phone, tablet and computer.
Add your entries
Type one name, idea or task on each line, or pick a quick set. Every entry gets its own equal slice.
Give it a spin
Click the wheel, the SPIN button, or press Ctrl + Enter. It slows down and stops on one random pick.
Go with the flow
The winner pops up and joins your results. Remove it to draw again without repeats.
A little less thinking
One wheel for every decision
Use Shuffle to mix the slices, Sort A–Z to organise them, and Copy share link to send your exact wheel to someone else.
Classroom name picker
Paste your class list and spin to choose who answers next, who presents first, or how to form groups. Turn on Remove winner automatically so every student gets a turn.
Giveaways on stream
Add participants' names and spin live on Instagram, YouTube or TikTok for a fun, visible winner reveal.
Everyday decisions
What to eat, which movie to watch, who's going to pay — put the options on the wheel and let it choose.
Games, teams and chores
Pick truth-or-dare challenges, assign chores, choose the next board game, or split players into teams in one click.
Good to know
Questions, answered
Everything you need to know about the wheel, your saved lists and your stats.
How does the spin wheel choose a winner?
Each non-empty line becomes one equal slice. The winner is picked with your browser's secure random number generator, so every slice has the same chance. The animation is just for fun. Duplicate lines count as separate slices.
Can I use this as a wheel of names?
Yes. Put one name on each line and spin for a casual random pick. It doesn't keep an audit log or certify results, so it isn't suitable for official contests, regulated lotteries or prize drawings.
Will my wheel be saved?
Your entries, settings and statistics are stored in your browser's local storage on this device. They are never uploaded to a SpinWheel account or server. Clear this site's browser data to remove them.
How do I remove a name after it is picked?
Click Remove in the winner pop-up, or turn on Remove winner automatically before spinning. The picked entry is taken off the wheel, ready for the next draw.
What are the statistics and milestones?
The wheel keeps your personal stats: total spins, spins today, and how often each entry has won. You unlock badges at 10, 100, 1,000 and 10,000 spins. Stats are saved only in your browser, so every visitor has their own.
How many entries can I add?
You can add hundreds. Text gets smaller as slices are added, so for best readability we recommend up to about 100.
Can I share my wheel?
Yes. Click Copy share link and send it — anyone who opens the link sees the same entries.
Is it free? Does it work on mobile?
Yes to both. SpinWheel is 100% free, needs no sign-up, and works in any modern phone, tablet or desktop browser.
What we store
SpinWheel saves your wheel entries, settings and personal statistics in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to a SpinWheel server. We don't ask for an account, name or email.
